A strong brand starts with a clear picture of the landscape. Before you file, before you print labels, before you build around a name, a Trademark Clearance Opinion tells you whether your proposed mark is positioned for protection.
A Trademark Clearance Opinion includes a comprehensive trademark search, a written legal opinion on registrability, likelihood of confusion analysis, recommended filing classes, and specimen guidance tailored to your business.
The result is a detailed opinion letter you can act on. File an application on your own, engage Cloth & Code Legal for registration, or make a strategic pivot before you invest further. The opinion gives you the foundation to move with confidence.
This service is designed for founders who want informed guidance before committing to a brand name or logo. Even if you are not ready to file or plan to file independently, a Trademark Clearance Opinion gives you the legal groundwork to make that decision well.
Investment: $1,800 (flat fee)
If you choose to move forward with Cloth & Code Legal for your trademark application, a $600 credit from your Trademark Clearance Opinion fee will be applied toward that engagement. Credit valid for 90 days from the date of the opinion.
